Strands of Elvis Presley's hair have sold for $15,000 at a Chicago auction house. The clump of hair is believed to be left over from when Presley signed up to the Army.

The auction, held at the Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, also featured some 200 Elvis-related items, including scarves and a shirt that once belonged to the King, which sold for $52,000. Photographs from Presley's 1967 wedding to Priscilla were also among the items.
